The day started with this WAP-4 #22259 which was hauling MS bound Nellai express at Pallavaram. Now it gets diesel for its MS run

The second train spotted was MS bound Kanyakumari express with its customary WDP-3A (then) #15501. Now it gets a WDM-X loco from either ED or GOC

The moment comes... GOC YDM-4 #6283 which was hauling VM-TBM passenger enters Guduvancherry station

GOC WDM-2 #16858 hauling GUV bound express from MS crosses our YDM-4 hauled passenger somewhere near Vandalur

This Tambaram bound EMU was racing with us from Guduvancherry iteslf. Finally it over took us before TBM as we were waiting for signal
